Forge on the Farm Classes

 

Come on out to the Farm!


Bryan Mathis (B.D,Mathis Knives & FD Leatherworks) will be hosting and instructing all Knife Forging and Leatherworking for the whole weekend.

This is a 2 day forging and leather working event taking place on our 17 acre farm in beautiful Deleon Springs FL. Participants will forge their own Full Tang Camp Style Knife as well as craft their own leather sheath for that knife.

Participants have the option to camp out on the farm if they choose (tents and camp gear not provided), 30 amp RV power hookups will be available , NO 50 AMP ON SITE

Drinks will be provided each day but you will be responsible for your own food, Breakfast, Lunches and Dinner etc.

Participants are welcome to arrive the Friday before class at 3pm to set up camp if they would like.

Day 1 : will be forging, profiling, and heat treating your blade. All blades will be Full tang, with a forged finish.

Blade Shapes can vary with personal preference but they need to be able to fit in one of my predetermined sheath styles

Day 2 : will be Blade finishing, Handles, and Sheaths


Start time will be 8am and run until 6pm. There will be a 90min break for lunch each day.
